Edit: I felt it was too bland, so I added a bit of splashing water on this so that the background wasn't just completely white.
Just a bit of light drawing to calm my tension. I am in the final week of school as I upload this and I have one final project I haven't even started... that's due monday hahaha!
I started drawing the sketch before my birthday, and did the rest today. So that means I started it when I was 22 and finished as I turned 23. Feels kinda strange!! D:
Materials
A4 (later cropped) Cardboard Opalina
0.5mm 2B mechanical pencil

To be honest, Goldeen is just one of the more forgettable Pokémon of the bunch to me, even if it's Gen. 1. Never really stood out too much. I like the specificity of this being Misty's though, so kudos.
I'm really digging this as a sketch. It looks so clean and smooth! The shading is quite pleasing to look at; the difference between the markings and the shadows is something to appreciate. In fact, the markings are great on their own. The whole cartoon-esque look is just splendid in the first place – very reminiscent of the animé. I can see subtle details that you probably made because of stylistic choices.
I anticipate more of your work in the future. <img src="e.deviantart.net/emoticons/s/s…" width="15" height="15" alt="" data-embed-type="emoticon" data-embed-id="391" title=" (Smile)"/>
